Nerromiktok is an Inuit word that roughly translates to 'soft and smooth to the touch' which is exactly what this tokota is, not only in the flowing locks of her blonde mane and tail but also in her sweet personality and very gentle nature.
Ricki was sad to see her leave when her lease was up, because Nero was especially caring and obedient toward her rider and Ricki had had the pleasure of riding her quite a few times over the past month. The tundra coloured female had never put a foot wrong, and was successful in several hunts during her time with Ricki and the pack. Nero formed quite a close bond with Take, the residing long maned female who was tundra coloured as well. Ricki had even spotted them grooming each other (you know how particular long manes are about their hair)..
It was frosty and very cold when both Ricki and Take woke early on Nero's day of leaving and said their goodbyes, Take with her white ears and tail drooping sadly. Ricki stroked Nero's silky mane and promised to come and visit sometime, before the bearmarked tokota was led away back to her home.
